If we understand that golf is a game of accuracy in golf is a game of a then a how as a golfer to do we focus on accuracy and on aim. As a golf we talk about alignment we need to be aligned to our designated target that target isn't always the flag and that target isn't always the center of the fairway. Sometimes if we've got a curve to our ball flight let's say we draw the ball or we fade the ball is a right handed golfer we've got to aim to the right or to the left and align our body so that we can allow the ball to have its natural curve.
So you don't always have to align yourself at your intended target if you've got a 10 yard draw and you aimed at your target the 10 yard draw makes the ball miss the target. So you will align off center to allow for your curve shape if you're straight hitter if you look enough to be a straight hitter then aligning your target is fine but if I draw the ball 10 yards I don't want to align myself to my target I want to align myself right of my target. Now when we talk about alignment we can talk about lots of different things.
