Tom Stickney – A Top 100 Golf Teacher
All too often people have the ball forward in the stance and they tend to lean their spine backwards and what that causes is you to hit way behind the ball and that causes a lot of thin and fat shots. So remember when you're in the bunker you need to have your spine centered to even leaning a little bit left. That will help you to hit a little bit closer behind the golf ball than the previous shot.
So here we go really in the spine center to a little bit left and all we're going to do is stay there. When we do that obviously we impact the snakes we get the ball out of the bunker life's pretty good but remember if you sit back here you're going to hit way behind the golf ball and that's too much sand you've got him a bit close to the golf ball so you get the ball out of the bunker. So spinal tilt in the bunker vitally important center of the spine to even leaning a little left you'll go down into that golf ball you had about an inch inch and a half behind the golf ball ball come out life would be pretty good so just that spine and you'll be in a lot better shape.
