So I found myself here with a chip where the balls above my feet on a side hill lie. As with all these different lie shots is really crucial you build the correct set up. The quality of your setup is very much going to determine the outcome of the shot because the balls above me I effectively need to make the club much shorter. If I took my normal stance I'd be here but soon as I move up the club too long so I really need to make sure I'm going to choke down the club here that's the first thing. Ideally using one of your more shorter clubs your sand wedge, your pitching wedge, or gap wedge from here. So it's crucial we build the correct set up there's a little thing that happens that when I tilt the club this way and get the ball more above me it actually tilts the club face and this makes the face aim a little bit more left of the target.

So it's not uncommon with this shot for players to aim what they feel is straight and when they hit the shot they are actually pull it. So we need to adjust for that and aim slightly right of our target by remaining marginally right of my target of the flag of choke down or to keep my arms pretty firm and just brush the slow now it's really critical when you make your practice swing. You know where the low point is happening and getting the contact point club head hitting the turf that's going to ensure I get the right contact on it. My knees are nicely close together every thing's nice and contain my balance is good so let's give it a go. That's not too bad so again shorten the club, knees together make sure you have a practice stroke where you feeling the bottom of that arc. Once you've done that give it a go and you'll find I will be a lot more consistent.
