Width is quite applicable in the golf swing but it can be applied to 2 completely different areas. One of them all cover off dead quick and I want needs a bit more time the 1st width is the width of stance how do we stand up to the golf ball. I'd like to work on the outside of your shoulders to the inside width of your feet.
So if take a club measure across my shoulders that's the width of your feet that's how I should stand for most normal golf shots. If I'm hitting driver I might go one foot width wider if I'm hitting a wedge I might go one foot's with narrower that gives me a bit more control of my wedges and a bit more power in my driver and then everything else is just that normal shoulder width apart. The next application of width in the golf swing is a concept with trying to swing the club away from my body a lot of the time to create a powerful golf swing. If I set everything up really nicely and then make a swing that's here I would argue there's no width in the swing.
