Now the stack and tilt golf swing is something if you've been watching golf for a while or reading about it for a while, you might start to see the stack and tilt golf swing over the last four or five years and it’s becoming something that people have started to show some interest in. And it really is the shift away from the fundamentals and the things that we've been told to believe and told to think about in the golf swing for quite a while now. And the biggest difference is this feeling that in the back swing, we don't shift away from the golf ball like we would be--like we are normally encouraged to do. Now we don’t drive back through the golf ball likewise. We're more sort of stacked in the back swing and until follow through. So in the back swing, the motion would be a lot more into the left side this way feeling like you are stacked above your left leg.

Now let me just explain how that will actually happen. Basically the right knee would be locked straight during the back swing which is something that I would never encourage you to do in a traditional golf swing. So the right knee would lock out therefore forcing the left knee down into the golf ball. The hips would actually pivot into the left side this way with a slightly dropped left hip. The left shoulder would point down at the golf ball and form the reverse angle here, the left shoulder actually dip slightly increasing the spine angle as the hip comes up a little bit.

Now the benefits of a stack and tilt golf swing in that motion of tilting is it is easier to hit down on the golf ball and your striking may improve. Now it may improve slightly at the loss of a bit of distance but if you find that by making a stacked back swing this way you can actually hit down on the golf ball and improve your ball striking. Then maybe the stack and tilt golf swing is something you would choose to investigate further, do a little bit more reading up and research about the subject and maybe going to your specialist golf coach who believes the stack and tilt golf swing is the way forward for your game. And maybe has a little bit more of a--an insight from knowledge and to how they think the stack and tilt golf swing would work well for yourself.
