So to maximize the potential of hitting this iron shot as high as we possibly can the impact position is the crucial part of this. The golf ball simply does not know what any other part of the golf swing looks like. It doesn't know whether I'm Tiger Woods or not it doesn't know where my back swing is it doesn't know what's happening before impact all it knows about all that cares about is impact and we want to make sure that firstly the club is traveling nice and quick the point of impac. That impact itself needs to be on the left side hands slightly had a nice nicely down over the ball that should encourage the best possible impact position. If I am leaning back too much you know body weight on this side I'm going to be hitting the ground and lifting into the ball which is not good.
So we want body weights on the left side to hit down we want to have the hands slightly ahead of the golf ball that's again encourages a nice down strike. Now no way you had too much downs that he lost in the goal to see much we'll see when the eye is down over the goal pull to make sure that we're getting a good contact anything where the eyes in the chest lifting up. Begin to hitting over the top of the ball giving is the top to the fin shots. So plenty of club head speed coming into the ball bodyweight towards the front like nice chest and hands down nice and low good impact position ideally taking a little divot after the golf ball. If you can take a little divot after the ball chances are that you are hitting a good impact position you get in the club underneath the ball to give it the best chance of launching the ball up in the air and hopefully if you can improve the impact position you'll be improving the height of the consistency of those iron shots.
