When golfers hit the shot sometimes they hit the shot they pictured it in their mind but they don't necessarily hit the strike or they pictured. I think for a lot of golfers the strike is the most satisfying part of any shot. Quite often stood over the ball absolutely rip the strike and I'm really happy with only to look up and see the ball drift into the bunker.

You go oh thats disappointing its in a bunker but you know all I'm really happy with the strike. Another time you might set up the ball and fat it duff it shank it a little bit and it just fine as the front edge of a big green and you go on the green in the previous one went in the bunker would you know all a much more satisfied with the good strike that went in the bunker than the fat one that found the front edge of the green. It is odd because golf is a results based game but striking the ball cleanly off the middle of the clubface gives the golfer huge satisfaction.
