Hi I'm Tom Stickney Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor and today I want to talk to you about fixing that face angle making sure that we shut that blade down. A lot of times people have too much grip pressure they grip on to it too tight that prohibits a club releasing and what will end up happening is the heel of the club will leave the toe of the club all the way through. So what I want to do is I want you to relax I want you to feel on a scale of 1 to 10 that your grip is somewhere around a 3 to 4.

When your grip pressures around the 3 or 4 as it all comes through you can feel that club will move and that toe will pass the heel and you can release the club a little bit easier but if you start getting real tight all you're going to be able to feel is tension and that heel to leave the toe that face is going to stay open that ball is going to exit in the right field more often than not. So train your grip pressure for the better make sure it's a little bit softer and you are going to hit the ball more left more often than not.
