I don't know about you but I struggle on downhill lies but I found a tip that might help. I've got 120 yards so I don't have that far to go there's really not much in front of the green so I kind of skip it in there. What we want to do put the ball back in our stance make sure the shoulders are level with the slope what that's going to do is force the club to chase the slope as long as possible the ball's going to come out low it's going to take one hop on the front of the green it's going to stop after a big jump.
So you've got a plan for that so once again balls in the center I'm going to lean my shoulders with the slope and I'm going to finish slow. There you go one big hop stops on the green now that's going to help you hit these more solid because the most important thing on these downhill lies is to hit it solid. So ball back and stance hands and weight forward shoulders with the slope down and through hits the green one day hop and stops you'll do that I promise you these lies will give you too much trouble.
