I'm sure if you think about your golfing partners now the buddies you've played with the people you come across at the golf club. You can imagine people have a different mood on the golf course you might think well he's a really light hearted guy he's a really good guy to play with and this guy he was very moody when I played with them. and you might consider what's your golfing mood how people think I am on the golf course and how does that reflect more importantly on the golf that I'm able to play. Am I playing golf in the right mood or should I change what I'm currently doing. Now often we'd look at a golfer and we'd say that your mood should match the type of person that you are so if you're generally quite a hospitable nice smiley friendly chap and then go on the golf course and throw your clubs around break stuff over you need not talk to anybody that's probably not going to do your golf any good because you're not in your comfort zone you're not in your natural frame of mind. Likewise the flip of that would be somebody who is generally really moody doesn't speak to many people and and is quite downer and then they go on the golf course and they try and fill them selves with the joys of spring and smile and talk to have one on the go and they're probably going to feel very comfortable. With that concept either so let's look at ways where you can play golf within your own within your own comfort you within your own mood one of those things might be your level of attention span if you feel that you can go to work and you can knock out solid six hours of work.

Without lifting you heard from your computer maybe on the golf course you could do the same thing you can get done you can grind out a score of four hours and not speak to anybody but if your attention spans like a goldfish in every two minutes you'll be having a chat with somebody maybe you've got to focus on the golf course to your next shot you put your club away and then you start talking you socialize you interact with people. Make yet another shock like do the same again chat to people about the course the weather the school or whatever you're talking about but keep that social interaction happening because that's how you. In everyday life all the golfers might find that they're they're really competitive they're competitive in life they're competitive in work the competitive in playing tennis and then when they come to the golf course and someone says oh well let's just play ensue to score today but not really write it down not really worry about what we shoot like might not work well with you have it in your head you might think what's the point and this will play and I'm hitting the ball but I'm not scoring. So as a competitive person you want to have a game here you want to write some scores down it might only be five dollars on the game but you want to have a reason to play this game. So if you're a competitive person try and make your golf course interactions competitive to keep you focused if you're a very relaxed not very competitive person try and play down the competitive element of the round of golf so find out what your general day to day mood is. Are you competitive do you have a good attention span are you looking for social interactions and then play golf with that same mindset and that should help you feel more comfortable on the golf course.
