If we consider downhill shots we've got to consider how that can affect what the ball will do but also what the hill will do to me as a golfer. If we imagine a scenario where we've got to a raise tee and a lower green here we're playing the ball from here down this way if the tee is flat and the green it's flat the tee won't necessarily make a difference to what I'm doing in the green what make a difference what the ball is doing when it lands. Apart from the fact the ball will fly further so if I've got a 7 iron goes 150 but the green is 20 yards below one teeing off.
I've got to allow for that in the way I play the shots that possibly hit my 7 softer or taken an 8 iron and allow for the drop in height. Likewise if it was uphill I'd take a bigger club probably more importantly more difficult for a lot of golfers to get to grips with is if the ball is on a downhill slope as in I'm standing here playing this direction and the ball it's like this. So that would be one downhill option the other option is if I was playing that way down the fairway and the ball is down there below me there's 2 different ways of sort of considering downhill shots.
