Golf In its simplest form is a game of accuracy. We know with the golf we got to play a long shot we go play high shots we'll play over bunkers round hazards but ultimately the game is about getting the ball from A to B to the flag a very small target a very long way away. So we have to be accurate with what we do with our golf shots. So when we talk about the word accuracy and its relation to golf it's fundamentally important every shot we hit we have to hit with a degree of accuracy.
Now sometimes the accuracy required is greater and sometimes it's narrower. So if we're hitting a tee shot maybe we've got driving with pull the driver on a big old par 5 the fairway might be 40 yards wide we would say that yes we needed degree of accuracy but actually there's a margin of error there as well. So the accuracy is 40 yards wide we've got a bit of room then when we play our approach shot to the green, the green suddenly is all a lot smaller than the fairway the green maybe only 20 yards wide. So yes we need again accuracy but it's a smaller target this time.
