To tell you the truth, the Kingsley Club is that kind of a golf club Id join instantly, being masterfully designed and located in a remote area, which is free of distractions and one hundred percent focused on the game itself.

2. Kinloch Golf Club Course Review

The golf course itself was built in 2001 and wears the signature of architect Lester George, featuring 7203 yards of golf from its longest tees for a 72 par. The course has a rating of 74,8 and a slope rating of 139 while strategic design is its most prominent feature. What to expect playing here you asked, metrics aside? Well, truth be told, the Kinloch is one of the lesser known golf courses despite the fact that it managed to find its way onto numerous top one hundred lists (more about that in a second) and somehow stayed under the radar sort to speak.

3. Kittansett Club Course Review

The Kittansetts main attribute is to surprise its visitors, being a sea-side golf course with no dune in sight and judging from the local topography, youd expect a links like design. The reality is that the Kittansett golf course features tree lines on 2 thirds of its holes and the soil is not sandy at all, i.e. this golf course is pretty far from what youd expect, as it doesnt play fast and hard with a few exceptions. There are also lots of fairway impending obstacles scattered all around the golf course. Truth be told, people seldom realize how difficult this golf course really is until they play it for the first time. Not even its members, i.e. people who are familiarized with the speed of the game, the obstacles and the carries. Bottom line, if youre looking for a legendary layout which is often visited by golf pros, the Kittansett is the perfect place to play your favorite game.

4. Kiva Dunes Golf Course Review

Kiva Dunes has been ranked Alabamas number 1 public golf course by both Golf Magazine and Golf Digest and also featured in USGA Golf Journal, Senior Golf, LINKS, GolfSouth and Golf Course Living, being a must-play for any golf aficionado visiting the Gulf Coast. With its beautiful scenery, though the golf course itself doesnt offer an ocean view, its outstanding conditions and challenging layout, the Kiva Dunes golf course can be defined as pure coastal golf, being built around patches of roughed-up coastal vegetation and existing dunes, while the omnipresent wind which blows non-stop across the property provides for golfers playing here the courses most distinctive quality.

5. Kohanaiki Golf and Ocean Club Course Review

Truth be told, the Kohanaikis golf course is among Reese Jones s best works and one of my personal favorites, being a real contender when it comes to choosing the best course in Hawaii. Playing here youll be amazed by the outstanding ocean views, the world-class amenities and the near perfect turf conditions which offer an opportunity to refine your game while having a great time, regardless of your golf skills. The Kohanaiki Golf and Ocean Clubs course features 7329 yards of golf from it longest tees for a 72 par, making it ideal for every caliber golfer sort to speak, but what makes it really unique is its breathtaking design together with the courses 6 oceanfront holes, which make it quite special even for Hawaii in terms of layout. Keep in mind that this golf club is a private resort, available for its members and their guests only and it spreads over 100 acres. Despite being built on a lava rock bed, the course looks as natural and familiar as any other old style golf course, with ample fairways and just 65 bunkers, but the views of the Pacific ocean are everywhere, making for an incredible place which will easily get you distracted from your game.

6. Kukui'ula Golf Course Review

Clearly, the Kukuiula Golf Course is one of the best in Hawaii as it features one of the most impressive layouts these islands have ever experienced. Playing here youll enjoy the golf courses exhilarating holes, the artistic bunkers and a prime conditioning, making for an unforgettable golfing experience together with some of the finest ocean views in all Hawaii. Keep in mind that the Kukuiula Golf Course is a private golf club, available just for members and their guests, with a driving range/motorized carts available. Due to the course being as private as they get and the minimal number of homes in the community, the Kukuiula Golf Course is not crowded at all and it will definitely appeal to players of all skill levels/all ages. The course spreads over 216 acres for a 72 par and it features sand planted fairways, paspalum turf and a beautiful landscape boasting its native flora.

7. Knight's Play Golf Center Course Review

If you are looking for distance, then turn away now. This course sits at just over 2,100 yards, and has no hole totaling more than 170 yards. When visiting the Knight Play Course, you will need to be ready to work on your iron play, because using a wood is not going to be an option. With that said, you will have the ability to practice a number of shots and flip-wedges throughout the round, and scoring is everywhere. The front 9 is pretty straight forward until you reach the par 3 7th hole, with a strategically placed pond that surround the green. The miss is short left, and that is about the only spot to leave it unless you hit the green. The back nine offers a similar layout, with the only water being on the par 3 18th hole. The miss on this one is left the whole way, with the water lining the entire right side of the hole. Sitting at just 145 yards, you will have no issue finding the green and finishing a truly fun-filled round of golf.

8. North Course at Lake of Isles Course Review

Since its 2005 opening, the North golf course was consistently rated high by reputable publications/magazines as one of the best in the US, due to the Rees Jones touch of genius which will provide you with the ultimate golfing experience. The challenging North golf course features island tees and greens and a rolling/undulating terrain, together with offering beautiful views at every hole, including the picturesque Lake of Isles. I must also note that the course is impeccably conditioned from tee to green and each hole is a new challenge, especially if youre a first time visitor. You should expect lots of carry off the tee box and a couple of par 3s providing no bail out, being as tough as they get. The golf course itself is very scenic, to say the least, contributing decisively to the overall outstanding experience and if youll play it once, youll definitely come again for more!

9. Larkhaven Golf Club Course Review

When you begin at The Lark, you will be greeted with a 280 yard par 4 that is more than drive able for most golfers. After walking away with a birdie, you will have another drive able par 4 second hole, and it continues to get easier from here. After making the turn, you will be faced with the lone difficult task on this course the par 4 10th hole and that is the extent of the difficulty. The rest of the round will be a golfers paradise, and you should walk away with one of the better rounds of your life.

10. Legacy Golf Links Course Review

Aberdeen is located on the edge of Pinehurst, NC which is truly the home of golf. When travelling to the area, you have the ability to play every type of golf course imaginable, and the majority of them are in great condition year-round but not Legacy. The layout is somewhat quirky on the front 9, but the back 9 has a more traditional layout, and is by far the more difficult of the two nines. The front 9 is the longer of the two sides, but it really does not play to the length. Packed with quirky dog-legs, it really takes away from the true distance posted on the scorecard. The par 5 second is the only par 5 on the course that is not always reach able in two shots, which does allow for golfers to put up a pretty strong score on the par 5s while visiting Legacy. The par 3s are nothing to be intimidated by, with a 7 iron being about the longest club needed to safely reach each of them in one.
