Larkhaven Golf Club Course Review

The Lark. Aside from a pretty cool name, Larkhaven does not really have too much to offer in the way of practice facilities, but the golf course is truly a bombers paradise. ?Packed with drive able par 4s, and reachable par 5s, anyone has the advantage when stepping foot out here.

The practice facilities look as if they were once actually quite decent. The old driving range, is now used for sod, which leaves golfers with nowhere to warm up prior to the round. The putting green is a small patch of grass in the middle of the parking lot, and there is no chipping green. If you are looking to work on your game and just hit some balls on the range, this is not the course for you.

However, if you are looking to put up a very low score, and really enjoy your round of golf then you have hit the jackpot. The course is Bermuda throughout, which does ensure great golfing conditions throughout the hot summer months. The greens are very small and flat, so dont expect to be left with any extremely long putts. When you begin at The Lark, you will be greeted with a 280 yard par 4 that is more than drive able for most golfers. After walking away with a birdie, you will have another drive able par 4 second hole, and it continues to get easier from here. After making the turn, you will be faced with the lone difficult task on this course the par 4 10th hole and that is the extent of the difficulty. The rest of the round will be a golfers paradise, and you should walk away with one of the better rounds of your life.

Dont let the lack of practice facilities deter you away from Larkhaven, or you will be missing out on some really good golf.
