If we’re looking to create longer drives and more accurate drives, one of the main tips I would give you is to make sure that you hit the ball on the upswing so that you start to catch the ball with rising club putt. This is the only time we'd ever want to hit on the upswing during golf, and the reason for that is because the golf ball is on the tea putt. So ways we’re going to set up to allow that to happen, when we set up initially place your feet together so they’re pointing at the ball, and then step to the right. That’s going to leave the ball position on the inside of the left foot.

We want that because as you set up you can now place 60% of your weight onto your right side and just allow the hands to set back behind the club. So not pushing arm forward for this shot just allow the club to set back behind the club putt. As you swing back we’re going to kick the club low to the floor, and then as we swing through, the low point for the club putt will be middle of the feet and the set up position will allow us to now catch the ball on the upswing.

We are going to impart less back spin onto that ball, and we are going to create longer and higher drives. So ball position inside the left foot, weight slightly on to the right, 60% on the right, and hands just setting back behind the club putt will allow you to strike the ball on the upswing, and you will be hitting long and really straight accurate drives in no time.
