If you looked down the stats of the PGA Tour and the European tour for the last decade plus, one name who comes up time and time again in one on the stats leaders as far as accuracy goes, as far as driving distance goes is the Englishman Lee Westwood. He has one of the most repeatable, consistent and trustworthy full swings in the game. It's only when it's gets down to the green where all these problems begin but if you're looking to copy his swing, why wouldn't Lee Westwoods be a fantastic one to use. Well there are a couple of reasons why he has a few unique characteristics within his swing which allow him to hit the ball consistently but could also not allow you to hit them as consistently if you copied his technique.

Lee Westwood has a very distinctive chicken wing, pretty much to wow the entirety of his swing, not with his right arm but with his left arm as he actually takes the club away. So what you'll see with Lee Westwoods, is at his address position he has a very very slightly bent left arm, he takes it ways up to the top, he goes into pretty much the same position and he returns to that same bent left arm position as he actually hits the shot. So he does it very very consistently, he has done it throughout his entire career, we're going to analyze it a little bit more to kind of understand why it may work for you, it may not work for you and then a few drills to understand if you are doing it, how you can correct it.
