23 year old Korean golfer Lee Jung Min is this year playing on the LPGA Tour she was rookie of the year of the Korean LPGA Tour in 2010 a known breeding ground for successful stars of the Tour. Now her swing is very consistent, it’s very good, it’s very powerful and she uses her right foot her, her right knee and her right hip very aggressively and very powerful through the downswing. Her downswing sequence begins when she really pushes off the right foot. The backswing is nice and forward on the downswing she pushes off the right foot transferring her weight onto the left side. From there the right foot begins to roll and begins to kick in and the right knee really kind of bends inwards.

Now from that position there it’s very hard to get your weight travelling backwards and her weight is really moving onto her front foot and driving through very, very aggressively. And it’s that movement that allows her to strike down and through with the irons and if the ball is further forward really power through and extend the arms. From this position the extension of the arms is very important because if they contracted it will not be a successful shot. So setup, solid setup takes you to the top of the wide arc really kicks off the right foot and kicks the right knee and strikes down and through very, very crispy. And if she has the extension is almost not guaranteed the more the likely to be a very good shot. So copy that action and you should find a consistent strike waiting.
