Striking the golf ball correctly is a fundamental part of improving your golf. During this video tip Pete and Matt will help you understand how poor ball striking could be affecting your game currently. They will also lead you through an understanding of the best way to improve your ball striking. An initial focus will be placed on moving the golf ball back in the stance, creating more space to swing the golf club and having a wider stance at set up will all be considered in order to improve balance coordination and angle of attack, with the ultimate aim of improving your golf ball strike.

Sometimes an overlooked and sometimes a bit of a boring topic but that can play a crucial part on the strike of our golf ball is the setup. Now if we've got a poor setup it's going to be hard to deliver a good strike so talking us through the set up Pete and the changes we could make to influence the strike. A good point Matt we see often a lot of the golfers who are looking really hard and in detail about different aspects of their swing to try and hit the ball better like we all are doing. Yes and not necessarily making the right focus on the start position like so it's on that sometimes overlook sometimes boring it's a case of well I'll stand to it and now I will start to try and improve my swing but if that's standing to it it isn't correct. Then actually the golfer is struggling from the get go but in the address position what I'm going to suggest is a bad position is that one is too close Ok someone that's too narrow and someone that's quick.
