Many golfers have the ultimate aim of striking perfectly straight golf shots. Although this is an ambitious target, if a golfer has an understanding of what is required to achieve this many golfers will have more success with this endeavour. Learning to control the path that the golf club is approaching the ball on and also having sufficient control of the club face alignment at impact are two of the most important components of understanding how to hit straight golf shots. In this video tip Matt and Pete will explain this concept and hopefully encourage straighter ball flights into your game.
Often when we're watching golf on t.v. now Matt we get shot tracer like a line that appears on the screen and it shows where the golfer hit the ball. Now can you imagine one shot straight it would look like behind the first tee on the average golf club morning> There be a lot of arrows like the red arrows everywhere be like fireworks yet it would have shot going this way would have shots going that way but watch that laser line on top of the t.v. tour pros we often just go bang bang bang straight shots.
A little bit of fade a little bit of draw but largely down that central corridor but what tips we got for golfers to hit the ball straight. What components do we need and how can it learn how to do it. It's you know it's one thing that if we could do would make the game a lot easier it's something you know generally we probably won't see a lot of because it is that hard to do to get everything you know zeroed out as we will call on a track man a flight scope and by that one I say zeroed out those 2 elements that a key to get zeroed out to help us hit straight golf shots.
