If all bunkers shots were from a nice flat even part of the bunker we'd probably all get very very good at playing them but we also lack the challenge in the imagination that sometimes needed to play a bunker shot. Particularly like this one that is nearer to the lip of the bunker and for a lot of golfers the enjoyment comes from the different challenges that the golf course asks of us.
