I think to be mentally strong on the golf course is going to help improve your game in the longer term but there's a couple of things you've got to be conscious of. I think one of those things would be that when you play expect the unexpected. Very rarely is a game of golf gone exactly to the plan that you had you might sit there that night before in bed and think OK so I'm going to drive down the first knock it on to put make up are I'm going to draw it round the second knock it shot the green chip on to put make another par and you have this good game plan in your mind. When you step on the first team yet slice into the trees and suddenly well I says and expected so how can I then recover from this situation if I didn't plan for it will golf is not a game of perfect we have to plan for the plan of all we have to expect the unexpected. So I think if you're mentally prepared to change your game plan to think on the hoof to change your shots and your technique on the hoof that's probably going to do you quite well or the rare is that you can consider is that we don't really want to let all the golfers bring us down.

We don't want to play in a situation where you know I go out there confident and playing well and happy about my score and I get through the first five or six holes and a couple under my handicap and I'm happy with this but the guy I'm playing with is having a really foul day. He is really not doing very well and suddenly he's he's really starting to get in a bad mood about the game and that will if you allow it start to feed into your game his negative mindset of always looking for golf balls and shouting it is swing and blaming the bad bounces and blaming the bad possible greens certainly that can start to infect your head and you start thinking negatively like him. So rather than thinking positively about the couple in the behind the cup here I'm playing well and I like the greens today in the golf ball seems to be bouncing towards a hole every time this guy's negative down mindset is certainly starting to play into your head. So you've got to make sure that you're not taking on anybody else's negative. Our mindset keep positive lot of people bring you down and plan for the unexpected and and try and think on the hoof with your game and hopefully those little tips there will help you to take a more positive mindset to the game of golf and improve your scores in the longer term.
