Hybrid Driver Review 2 (Video) - by Pete Styles

If you’re struggling hitting your driver, but you really love hitting your hybrids, why not consider a hybrid minidriver; the hybrid drivers from Thomas Golf, this is an AT 705 version, it's a traditional pear shaped looking hybrid head but with the aspects of the driver, so we’ve got less loft 10 ½ degrees, we've got a longer shaft than a traditional hybrid. This thing, when it's sits behind the golf ball, beautiful classic looking hybrid shape, but a little bit longer, player to a little bit more forwards your stance and sweep this thing away like a hybrid, but it flies like a driver.

If you really like hitting your Hybrid clubs, but you really don’t like hitting your driver, how about you consider something like a hybrid driver? Looking at the new hybrid drive from Thomas Golf, the 80705 is the one I have here. We look at the top of the golf club now; we’ve got a slightly shorter shaft, that's going to give you more control. We have a slightly smaller head profile, so it's less cumbersome, it doesn’t feel like it's too far away from you, it doesn’t feel too awkward to swing.

If you like swinging your hybrid golf clubs, but are fearful for the driver, consider replacing it with a hybrid that flies like a driver. They’re slightly longer than a hybrid shaft and they’re slightly bigger a hybrid head, but the traditional hybrid look really gives you that feeling that you’re still swinging your hybrid club but it gives you the results of a driver.
