When it comes to your eyes on the golf swing well clearly they're important because golf is a big visual sport we've got to look we've got to see we've got to take on a huge amount of information through our eyes. We've got to assess that information and work out well where should I be aiming and what's the window again what houses what dangers out there how far is something away. So your eyes are used for a huge amount of information however when it comes to actually hitting the golf ball probably not really used hardly at all.
In fact there's there's good evidence to say that people can actually play some decent golf when they're completely blind. You have a you have a sort of a caddy effectively who is lining you up telling you which club to use he is your eyes and you stand over the ball and you see these golfers in their phenomenal their skill development their production of a good golf shot is fantastic. Cause you don't need your eyes to hit a golf ball having said that you go to the range and try and shut your eyes and hit a ball and it gets difficult because we're not used to it so we lose our balance we tend to top the ball and we're a little bit scared.
