So if you're toeing the golf ball, we can appreciate that the club starts off level to the center of the golf ball here. But during the down swing face, the club must be coming in more towards the toe and hitting the ball from the toe and the ball could go out weakly to the right hand side for the right handed golfer. So we can understand how the club is pulling in at some phase. Now, we have to work out where that’s happening. And for a lot of people, it happens at the top of their back swings or the transition against the down swing. So if I turn side on for you here, we make a good swing up to too he top. If the golf club drops too far behind me and I come in, I get a bit too tight to my right side, and pull out the golf ball from the inside line and I could almost miss the golf ball because of that fault or certainly hit it from the toe because of that fault.

So, a nice set up where I am to correct distance away from the ball. Everything is looking okay here. But I pull in too much, I could then swing through on the inside. So the real key here to make sure you don't drop too much on the inside if that’s your fault toeing the golf ball, is to fill out the club stays in front of your chest a little bit more. So from a good address position, I swing nicely to the top and I keep the club here in front of my chest and I bring the club down in front of my chest. And I deliver the club unto the ball still in front of my chest. If from the top of the back swing, the club drops behind my chest, my chest is now facing to hear the club is lagging too far behind and I could be toeing the golf ball. If that’s my fault, I want to keep the club more in front of my chest, throw my hands out a little bit.

Always feel that you're trying to strike the ball a little bit more towards the heel. So if your fault is pulling in too flat in toeing the ball to the top, hands back in front of the chest and then swing down. And also a great little drill and exercise, you can now then repeat four or five practice swings, bringing the club back in front of your body with your hands. Then go ahead and start striking a few shots. And hopefully, you'll start to see the ball moving more from the toe, more towards the center to stop your hands getting trap and forcing you into the toe side of things.
