You know if we understand the importance of the individual movements within the golf swing, what's really important to tie all of that together is the sequencing and the order of how things happen during a golf swing. So from a good address position we know lots of different things are going to move and lots of different things are going to happen. We've got to make sure things follow a sequence and an order to things. So from a good address position the first thing that's going to move club head and left shoulder at the same time, they start moving back and winding. Then the hips will start to move, then the wrist will start to move will allow the golf club to the top of the backswing in a nice place. And now it's important that everything follows a slightly different sequence on the down swing and if we break out of the sequence because we're trying to do something too quickly, we're going to rush, we're going to try and use the parts of the body at the wrong time, generally golf swing will look awkward, a little disorganized and generally a lack power. So we've loaded nicely up to the top position here. Now it's the responsibility of the right arm to work in the correct way. We're going to pull the right arm down, bring in the right elbow into the side of the body and delivering the club from the inside rather than casting and throwing over the top.

One of the movements of the body that can really help sequence all of this together to help the right arm is driving the left hip in the correct fashion. So swing it to the top here, take the left hip and drive it across to the left hand side and effectively open the hip up which then brings the club down more from the inside. If we kept the hips still and try to sequence things by turning the shoulders from the top or throwing the right arm from the top we get a very much out of position and shot quite aggressively across the back of the ball. So from the top bring the right elbow down, move to the golf ball from the inside driving the left hip and then let the hands and arms release and it's pretty much the club head getting to the golf ball last behind everything else that's turned through that allows it to accelerate through the golf ball the fastest speed. If the right hand throws the club and the club head gets there first, we're in big problems because the club won't be going fast enough. Get the club head there last, and it will be accelerating through impact generating maximum distance. Think about hitting the golf ball in the longest way you can with correct sequencing and a correct order to your golf swing.
