There's three main components that we see that are kind of synonymous with golfers who don't hit the ball cleanly and they do fat the ball. Now the first one is that their move their body weight enough in the down swing so we often see golfers that turn nicely to the top getting their body weight onto their rear leg but then in the downswing there's not quite enough lateral motion or rotational motion towards the front leg.
