Okay what we're going to talk about now is the most probably what I think is the best four sort of basic sort of swing fours in the setup. So from here what I want you to think about of four basic things. The first thing I wanted you to consider is the most probably the most vital ingredient is how you put your hands on the club the grip. The grip is the most crucial elements in my opinion of any golf teacher coaching a pupil. It’s your only contact with that club is in your hands. So it's absolutely vital that you put your hands on in the correct position.

The correct position is laying your hand onto the grip and wrapping the hand over to create what we call a V, and this V should go ideally between the chin and the right shoulder for right handed golfers, left handed golfers absolutely the opposite way. From there you can either interlock your fingers if you got small or weak hands or if you got large hands you can overlap which is one lock together. One sits on the top. It's just simple as that. Those are the two grips that I would include to the grip. Now the point two is all about the setup. There's no one having a good grip, but the setup is wrong so what is a setup? The setup is getting yourself over the ball aiming the club putting your hands on, putting the ball in the right position, putting the feet in the same with your shoulders so you got good balance and then posture big, big word posture. This is where your body should be. The weight is predominantly forward. My backbone is at a nice 45 degree angle. This is vital because at impact we need you to be there with the weight forward, so we've gone through the grip oops, go for the grip. We've now gone through the actual setup because the setup is so, so important. Okay point three is the backswing. We've got ourselves into position now. We should allow us to create a good backswing. So I would just say one thought on the backswing: try and encourage yourself to turn your shoulders. So from here, focus on from here turning those shoulders as much as you can. Now, remember just go as far as your body will allow with senior golfers. You know if you can get to 90 degrees that's great because that's the maximum. If you can only go to say 65-70, that's great, no problem. You stay within your comfort zone all the time. Should we go through three? Number four is the impact position of your head. Head is very, very important. So when you're coming to the impact area we want you to be obviously sound so obvious, but we want you to be looking there at the back of the ball you strike and once you've hit that ball but across the head can actually follow so those are the four basic ingredients that I would encourage you to go and work on, and do one at a time. Do try and get them more together. Work on one. Work on the grip and work through all those stages, with practice improve your golf.
