On Course Playing Lesson at Davyhulme Park GC Hole #6 for Will Brown by Pete Styles

Rather well so 5th hole sorry 6th hole on there on the 6th hole now. An interesting little one here it doglegs down from right to left so you can't see the flag it tucked well away and most importantly on the corner of that dogleg you is quite a nasty little pond we want to stay well away from the left hand side here. The trees appear to eat into the right hand side but in reality there's a bit of space over them. so talk me through the decision here.

Just got a 5 wood tend to be a bit more accurate with this hopefully kind of drop the slice that tends to come with the driver so I just try and get a kind of narrow looking fairway from here. Ok, it looks a bit narrow down that doesn't mean I think Will's got the right idea it would have gone away from the drive we've chosen the 5 wood and will mention that that's too eliminate some of the slice. So the reason why that happens Will is because the five wood has more angle more loft on the face more loft creates a little bit more backspin if the ball is back spinning it's less prone to effectively curving to the side or side spinning as we sometimes call it so hopefully that 5 wood is the club of choice.
