So Will fifth hole hole par 5 nice wide open again and actually for you probably quite a favourable wind direction coming in from the right side as well. So we know that Will's got his little left to right would play down the right side of the golf course a little bit. I have a question how do you get an understanding of how and why the ball curves from left to right? Honestly not really, Ok and so generally when we see the ball curving like that it's going to be spin.
So the spin is imparted on the golf ball by the clubface and the swing path and if there's a difference between the swing path and the clubface the ball will start curve. So you can take a set up for me. So the path is the direction that clubs that Wills club will travel and the face is the direction where Will's club is actually aiming. Hold it there when you're ready now something we've worked on with Will in the lesson is the fact that his shoulders will often aim down the left hand side and we can actually see here that his shoulders do aim quite a long way down the left hand side. Now that's going to encourage Will's path to be down the left hand side as well so the path is going to be dominated down that left hand side pretty much due to Will's set up and then if the clubface is square to target the ball will largely set off towards the target which it generally does and then it turns to the right hand side.
