What would make golf more enjoyable? Now when you’re actually out and playing, everyone knows golf can be an extremely frustrating game. And for some people it can become almost too frustrating and they leave the course more stressed out than when they actually arrive. Now golf is meant to be a relaxing, enjoyable game, and to do that, there are a couple of key things that you need to remember. First of all, golf is just a game, at the end of the day it’s not life and death, you can relax and you can actually take time to enjoy yourself.

When you’re out on the course try and play with other people who you are quite friendly with, whom you can have a laugh and a joke with and who you are relaxed in their company. It makes a big, big difference, if you’re having a bad day at the office, well a bad day of golf in this kind of case, if you’re having a bad day, you can actually have a laugh and a joke with people who you actually like to spend time with. So try and pair up and try and play with people who you are relaxed around and people who you can have a good time with. Thirdly you want to be spending time on the course, not just thinking about your game 100 percent of the time, actually lifting your eyes and actually having a look where you are, taking time to smell the roses if you will. So you want to be enjoying yourself more playing with people who you like and actually just taking time to enjoy where you are. What you don’t want to be doing on the golf course especially if you’re having a bad day is to become more and more angry. If you’re becoming more and more angry on the golf course, you’ll become more and more frustrated. And if you become more and more frustrated, you simply won’t want to play, you need to remember that you’re at the golf course to relax, you’re at the golf course to play a game and you’re at the golf course to spend some time with people who you actually like to be around. So the next time you’re on a course if you are feeling a little bit stressed out, just relax, enjoy the surroundings and just remember that golf at the end of the day is just a game to be played.
