At the same time as he was playing at certain PGA Tour events, Henley was also playing some tournaments on the Nationwide Tour. The following year, Henley won on the Nationwide Tour, at the Stadion Classic at UGA. He was also on the United States Walker Cup team.
Henley turned professional that same year and made his debut as a professional, playing at the Soboba Golf Classic, on the Nationwide Tour. He won again in 2012, at the Chiquita Classic, and at the Winn-Dixie Jacksonville Open. At the end of 2012 Henley graduated from what was by then the Web.Com Tour and earned his card for the PGA Tour for the following year. Henley’s start on the PGA Tour couldn’t have been better. He was the first Tour rookie in twelve years to win his first Tour event, when he achieved victory at the Sony Open in Hawaii. He went on to win his second tournament on the PGA Tour, at the Honda Classic in 2014. This win meant that Henley went into the World’s top 50, and that he qualified to play at the Masters Tournament that year.
As of the end of 2014, Henley had achieved two wins on the PGA Tour, amassing total prize money of $4,598,519.
