NIKE LUNAR CONTROL 4 Golf Shoe Review
Retailing for $170 a pair, the Nike Lunar Control 4 can be described as the perfect mélange, a balance between precision and force. What we're dealing with here is basically an evolution, in the good sense of the word obviously, from the previous version 3. These shoes are built with a firmer/stronger outer sole, and under the (removable) inner sole you'll discover a soft foam which works wonders in combining supreme comfort with great stability for your foot. There's also a thick and sturdy heel counter in the back of the heel, which provides great support along with adding to the shoe's flavor, i.e. it comes colored in various accents, like white, wolf grey or color crimson. The shank is built using ultra light carbon fiber, which confers even more stability and rigidity.
The flat sole features Nike Champ Zarma Tour Spikes and it's designed with a special contour for extra grip on difficult terrain. If you're anxious about spiked golf shoes, don't worry: wearing the Nike Lunar Control 4 is extremely comfortable, they don't feel like walking on stilts, not by a long shot! These babies feel just right even on hard surfaces, thanks to the special layer of Lunarlon sole and the different models of spikes, that work together beautifully. The upper of the Nike Lunar Control 4 is made using a microfiber-synthetic material and it was re-designed, now being lighter that the previous generation and, supposedly, waterproof. The lacing uses Nike's proprietary Dynamic Flywire system, which functions beautifully in securing a tight fit on your upper foot, like a cable wrapping of some sort. In conclusion, if you're looking for an already proven golf @shoe which delivers supreme stability and comfort at a great price, the Nike Lunar Control 4 are definitely worth the investment.
