SkyCaddie AIRE Golf GPS Rangefinder Review

Although its production has been discontinued due to the release of its upgraded version, the good ol’ SkyCaddie Aire from SkyGolf still is one of the nicest, most affordable and simplest devices that you can take with you during a game.

One of the strong selling points of the SkyCaddie Aire is its design. The gadget has a 1.8-inch display, measures 3 x 2 x 1 inches and has a weight of just 2.4 ounces, having a small profile that fits in your hand and enables you to conveniently wear it anywhere you like, on your belt, bag, pocket and so on.

Its golf-related features include over 30,000 preloaded course maps, measurements of the front, center and back of green distances, Measure any shot, Auto Hole Advance, Auto Course recognition, scoring and more. The SkyCaddie AIRE also holds under its hood an odometer for tracking your walked distances, a calorie counter, clock, timer, alarm and support for 12 languages. Its IPX 6 certification for being waterproof enables you to play even if it starts to rain.

When it comes to battery life, the SkyCaddie AIRE is a solid performer and will endure around 10 hours of usage under a single charge.
