The Dual Distance core gizmo consists of a 2 layer system, that contains a low (and large) compression inner-core. This is what gives the TaylorMade Project (s) great feel while reducing unwanted driver spin. The outer core is built using a softer and durable polymer, that maintains ball speed and also improves feel. The TaylorMade Project (s) is built using an aerodynamic Ionomere Cover, which is also very soft, thus improving control and feel around the green significantly. Moreover, this baby features TaylorMade's patented 342LDP dimple pattern for high lift, which works in tandem with the lower backspin construction for reducing drag and improving aerodynamics. The end result is a long golf ball that really delivers in terms of feel and distance. Essentially, the Project (s) golf ball is very similar to the (a) version, but it features a softer compression and an ionomer cover, instead of the latter's urethane one.
