As a relative new comer to the game of golf we still want to make sure that the beginning golfers are maximizing the use of their drivers. Particularly the use of their driver in conjunction with a powerful golf swing to maximize the distance the hit their golf ball. Now if we have an efficient golf swing that maximizes the power of the shoulder turn the body on the club we don't really need to smash the smash the living daylights out of the ball. We see too many golf is that have poor technique and try and make it we just as hard as they can was actually if we give you good technique we can make a powerful swing that still quite. Move the rhythmical looking swing and should give you loads of power taking advantage of the driver and trying to get the ball down there as far as possible. So let's look at some key basics that will give you plenty of power in your golf drive shots. 1st thing is when we set up we want the ball teed up nice and high with the driver around about half the ball sitting above the top of the golf club.
A nice wide stance will help you get generate lots of power big shoulder turns he wants at least 90 degree shoulder rotation his shoulders rotating and turning around generate lots of power and really start with the hips. The 1st motion of the downswing should be the left hip moving across towards the target the right elbow should be dropping into a good position we're going to be turning through nice and aggressively extending the hands of the arms out to big follow through and then finishing all the way round the left side. We don't want to leave any body weight on the back foot any time you leave body weight on your back foot. You've left your power on the back foot and that's going to cost you distance if you follow those fundamentals and you're driving you should feel like you can hit the ball further maximize the use of the driver on the golf course.
