WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT GOLF BALL Review
Spin: Low
Dimples: 302
Compression: Low
Category Comparison: Value
Spec: (Two) 2 Piece / Layers
The WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT is basically the replacement of the good ol' two-piece Dx 2 golf ball. Following the great success of the latter, the new and improved WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT can be described as the best of both worlds. Basically, if you're seeking for a premium golf ball (performance wise) which combines the advantages of a very decent price tag and the features provided by its 2 piece construction, i.e. a revolutionary/state of the art super-low 29 compression for outstanding feel and increased distance, the WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT is the logical choice to make. After playing a few rounds with this baby, I must confess that I'm totally in love, especially in my tests around the green. This premium golf ball is absolutely lovely, with an almost ideal soft feel, especially for putting and chipping. Even when it came to short chips, the WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT performed excellently. Also, the distance was pretty good, while the durability convinced me that miracles sometimes happen in the golf industry.
By the way, I used the word premium in this short review. You must realize that by premium, I refer to premium performance, while the price is another story.
I mean, the WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT performs at least equally (if not better) when compared with other premium golf balls which cost twice as much. And that's pretty impressive, don't you think folks?
Bottom line, I must tell you that the WILSON STAFF DX2 SOFT sounds like a great deal to me, especially if you're that kind of golfer who enjoys an ultimate soft feel around the green, very consistent/higher ball flights and extra-yardage, all at a very competitive price.
