How can I stop a bad round getting worse. Now we’ve all had days on the golf course when we’re not hitting it well, the scores aren’t good and they keep climbing, and no matter what you try you can’t get the game back on track. Now and this point is where a lot of people certainly try harder and harder and harder, and become more and more frustrated. If you’re suffering a day like this, although it’s hard to do, you need to take a step back, you need to take a deep breath and you just need to allow yourself to relax. If you’re having a bad round and you get frustrated and get angry there’s only one way your score is going to go and that’s even higher.

So when you are out on the course you’re having a bad day, the scores aren’t great just relax, take your time, remember to smile, have a laugh with your playing partners and just try and relax to get the scores down. If you do get frustrated like I said there’s only one way the scores are going to go. So that’s one thing you can’t afford to do, is if you’re playing badly and the scores are going up is to try harder and harder and harder and harder. Just take a step back and relax. And if you relax your body will relax and then hopefully it will start doing what you want it to more often than not, and not hitting it into the trees. So if you’re having a bad day and you want to get your scores down, relax, take your time, try and enjoy yourself, and if the scores don’t come down just remember golf is only a game and next time I’m sure it will be much, much better.
