So all the things we’ve talked about so far with the start of the leg position and maintaining that leg position through a good spot at the top of the backswing. It's all about delivering these legs into the golf ball, therefore delivering the club into the golf ball in the best and most consistent way we can. So now, let’s look at how those legs are going to react in the downswing. So once we’ve got set up and we're at the top of the backswing, we’ve got a nice stable right side. We haven’t swayed across from the golf ball. Now, it's about driving this left hip and this left leg for the right-handed golfer out of the way and opening that left hip up and pretty much as fast as we can. It's difficult to do this too quickly because the faster we do this, the faster this but happens, the faster the club will move down towards the golf ball. So if we can really go ahead and get this left leg driving after the way nice and aggressively, that club will just be delivered into the back of the ball even quicker. So the left leg is two things. It moves to the left but it also rotates backwards. It doesn’t do the main isolation. It doesn’t do all of one or none of the other. If it just rotated, we’d find ourselves on the back leg. And if it just slides, we’d probably fall off balance here. We’re probably carving the ball out to the right hand side as well. So if a lateral rotation of that left hit was quickly as possible, we drive the body weight off the right leg as that happens and now the right leg joins the party by turning all the way through and catching up to a follow through position where the hips are actually facing to the target. The right leg is upon to the tiptoe and the left leg finishes perfectly balanced, we’ll have the right hand of the golfer of course. So from a good stable backswing position, drive, rotate and let the right leg and hip join the party into the finish position. The faster you can create that motion on the downswing, the better quality of strikes, the more confidence, and hopefully the more distance you will have on you golf shots.
