I've taught an awful lot of golfers who you see them on the golf course fumbling around for a ball marker, they can never find the right thing, is the coin too big, is the tip peg going to stick in the ground when somebody else if taking their putt? And people who wear a hat, I've just given a little tip actually about wearing a hat and having a magnetic ball marker on the side of the hat and that’s a great little way of never losing your ball marker. But actually if you're not a hat wearer there is another way of doing this. You could get a golf glove with a ball marker actually attached to the back of it. A lot of people wear these gloves and never actually realize what that is. It isn’t just the maker's emblem; it's actually a ball marker that's pressed within to the back of the glove. This particular one is a FootJoy golf club and they come with these little ball markers attached. So, simply just pop it off and place it down behind the golf ball, it's a very small flat ball marker so not many people are going to ask you to move it.

If you have a bigger coin or a bigger piece of money or some people use a poker chip, it may actually be in the way when someone is playing their shot but this is actually quite a small, quite a compact marker presses into the ground really nicely. And then when you're ready you can place the golf ball back down again, pick it up, press to the back onto the edge of the glove and you always know where it is. And it's also quite handy that if it's a wet day and your hands are quite cold you don't want to keep putting your hands in and out of your pockets making your pockets wet and leaving dirt inside your pockets. So, just having it on the side of your glove there, you never actually need to put your hands back in your pockets when you're picking at your ball marker. So, it's a great way of never losing your ball marker and always having it exactly where you need it by getting a glove with a ball marker on the edge.
