Now, here's a little tip about how Louis Oosthuizen swings the golf club, open championship winner so he's clearly a very, very good player and I've actually been lucky enough to watch Louis practice a little bit. He has a house near the driving range here in Manchester where I live and work and he comes down to the driving range in his weeks off. Honestly, I could stand there and watch his golf swing all day long.
He's not a very big guy, not even as tall as I am, but he's got such a powerful golf swing. He really gets over the golf ball in a very, very good position, and it's this one golf swing that if you're not a particularly big guy but you want to muscle the golf ball out there a long way, he's definitely one of the golf swingers you should be watching. He has absolutely nothing that I would change in his golf swing. I've watched him practice for a long time and there's not a single move in his golf swing that I would change.
When he won the Open Championship at St. Andrews, I could have watched that final round all day long. He gets into a brilliant position at set up, really powerful, quite a wide stance for a short fellow, but really, really powerful position, just takes the golf club back brilliantly. It's a very low-maintenance golf swing. All of his positions are perfect right the way through the golf ball.
Because he doesn't have any quirky little moves, any rerouting or any awkward positions, he can just stand there and hit that ball as hard as he likes. The club never gets out of position, never gets off plane. So, he doesn't need to wait and compensate and try and catch it with a ball. He can just stand there and hammer the golf ball as hard as he likes, massive distance from such a short guy, and I'm sure he will win more than one major championship.
