25 year old Lizette Salas broke through on tour last year to record her first victory. And she is a very talented golfer, with a very sound golf swing. And there’s one movement within her swing which you can copy, to ensure your rotation through impact is sound and solid, and it gets the ball out there as far as you possibly can. Now Lizette’s golf swing is very, very, very consistent, but as she comes through the ball, she strikes down with an iron hits up with a driver. But on a very single shot her chest, ends up pointing off to the left of the target. So as she comes through impact, her body is rotating to the extent, that her chest is pointed a long way off, after she’s actually finished the shot.

Now what that shows, is the upper body is rotating fully through impact and she is not leaving anything behind on the shot. The full rotation gives power, it gives distance, but it also means that the consistency should also be high. So to give that a go, just have a nice full backswing a nice full turn but on the way through, really focus on turning the body as much as you can and hold your finish position, and you want your chest to be pointing off to the left hand side of the target. And if you can get it turning all the way through, then you won’t have left anything behind the shot. So give that a go, and hopefully it can add something into your game.
