Cody Gribble is an American golf-pro and he’s currently playing on the PGA Tour as a left handed golfer. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Cody attended the University of Texas where he played a lot of golf. As an amateur, he was a Texas' national championship teams member on two occasions, a 2-time All American and also part of of the 2010 NCAA All-Freshman team. As an amateur, he won the Western Junior in 2007. After turning pro, he played in 9 PGA Tour Latinoamerica tournaments, making 6 cuts. In 2015, Cody Gribble joined the Web.com Tour and in 2017 he entered the PGA Tour.

His first PGA Tour victory was achieved at the Sanderson Farms Championship in 2017. Cody became famous last year as he was playing at the 2017 Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill, when he gave a “love tap” with his club to a gator sunning itself on the 6th fairway, chasing it away. Besides golf, Cody Gribble loves fishing and hunting, being an outdoors aficionado above everything else. During his golf career, he amassed over 1.8 million dollars in earnings.
