    Following his birth, in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1987, Hadley began playing golf from a young age, at North Ridge Country Club and also for the high school he attended, North Raleigh Christian Academy. Although he is naturally left handed, Hadley plays golf right handed. Hadley attended Georgia Tech for college, during which time he was All-American three times, and was a member of the Palmer Cup team in 2008.  

    After turning professional in 2010, Hadley began playing on the Web.com Tour in 2013. He achieved his first win on this tour at the Rex Hospital Open. At the end of the 2013 season Hadley finished in third place on the Web.com Tour money list, and earned his PGA Tour card for the 2014 season. 

    Hadley’s first PGA Tour win came during his first season, at the Puerto Rico Open. Hadley earned winnings of $630,000 for this success. The victory also meant that he gained a two year exemption, as well as several playing spots, including The Players Championship. The success earned Hadley the title of PGA Tour Rookie of the Year.

    Away from the course Hadley is married to Amanda, and they have one son. 
    As of the end of 2014, Hadley had achieved one win on the PGA Tour, amassing prize money of $1,703,316 overall.
