Cameron Smith is an Australian professional golfer, turned pro back in 2013 and he achieved his biggest success of his relatively short career in 2017, when he won the Australian PGA Championship. He also won the 2017 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, together with his partner Jonas Blixt. Cameron Smith played on Australasia’s PGA Tour since he turned pro in 2013, but his first appearance in a PGA Tour event was in 2014, the CIMB Classic in October 2014 respectively. Cameron Smith earned more than 5 million dollars during his golfing career, he’s single and while in US, he lives in Jacksonville, Florida.
The love for golf runs in the family, as his father is also an accomplished golf player. As a Brisbane native, Cameron Smith is a strong supporter of Brisbane Bronco's rugby league team, and he has the exact same name as the Australian national rugby league team captain, a thing that often causes confusion. Besides golf, Cameron loves tinkering with his cars and he wants to open a coffee-shop after he retires from the PGA.
