Titleist just released earlier last month (that would be June) their latest Vokey WedgeWorks K Grind wedge, a high bounce model available in just 54- and 56-degree lofts and based on a new Bob Vokey design. These babies are available for purchase on Vokey.com for $195, with a custom shaft, a special winged BV grip and ten custom characters stamped onto the head. It's worth mentioning that the K Grind makes for the Vokey's linup highest bounce model, and the K Grind wedge is offered in two flavors: oil can finish and brushed chrome. A number of PGA Tour professionals already played Vokey Design K Grind wedges, the likes of Adam Scott and Jason Dufner, and they seemed pretty happy, due to their wide soles that work excellent in deep rough and sand. Basically, the new Vokey WedgeWorks K Grind are combat-proven so to speak, i.e. if they're good enough for Tour pros, they're definitely good enough for you.

In recent times, the K Grind wedges' availability was limited to just 58 and 60 degrees lob wedges, yet the new-gen K-Grind is engineered to appeal to a wider range of consumers, as they arrive in 54- and 56-degree options, which is nothing short of awesome if you're a fan of the brand. These new wedges are aimed at pleasing golfers who enjoy using a club featuring a true sand wedge loft as their primary piece of golf gear around the greens and from bunkers. In these situations, the Vokey WedgeWorks K Grind wedges really shine, as they work just as good for open and square faced shots. Also, the latest K Grind generation boasts all Titleist's patented technologies which are to be found in the regular SM7, including the awesome spin milled grooves, which enhance spin rates, and the progressive center of gravity locations, which are loft-dependent, as in they vary based on loft. Versatility was the philosophy behind the Vokey WedgeWorks K Grind, as they were engineered to be great lob wedges, and they work spectacularly well for controlling trajectory on full swing shots.
