For every new Phenom set of junior clubs sold, TaylorMade is donating $20 to the PGA Junior League. The PGA Junior League, sponsored by the The PGA of America, is for golfers 13 and under to learn and enjoy the game. Fun, recreation, health and sportsmanship are values learned by junior golfers participating in the program.
“Phenom sets are precision-engineered to provide the optimal lengths, weights, lofts and shaft flexes to promote proper swing mechanics for young golfers,” said Tomo Bystedt, Sr. Director of Product Creation, TaylorMade Golf. Two sizes are available, a six piece set for players 5-8 years old and an 8 piece set for 9-12 year old golfers.
The 400cc driver has the performance expected from the company with the #1 driver in golf. Forgiveness, distance and easy launch all mean that junior golfers will keep coming back. The easy to hit Rescue bridges the gap between the fairway woods and irons in the set. Perimeter weighting in the irons and wedge and a generous offset combine to produce higher and straighter shots. Also included in the set is a center-shafted mallet putter and lightweight stand bag.
