TaylorMade Daddy LongLegs + Putter

The Daddy Long Legs was TMs’ putter that was designed to transition the anchored belly putter users to a mainstream putter that was USGA approved. The key feature of this putter was increased stability. Two years after the Daddy Long Legs debuted in 2013, we have its’ baby brother. The DLL + is made in such a way as to make it even more stable than the original. The DLL+ is manufactured from 17 different pieces making it the most technologically advanced and most stable putter in TMs’ lineup.

The grip on the DLL + is now weighted with a 125 gram Counter Core weight. Combine this with the 2.0 Mid Slim XL grip from Super Stroke weighing 75 grams, and you have a grip that weighs a whopping 200 grams (a full 70 grams heavier than last year). In addition TM has used a light weight True Temper steel shaft to perfect the weighting of this putter.

The finish has been changed to a matte black. Abandoning the soft Surlyn insert, the deep milled aluminum face insert stretches to cover more of the putter face, and enhances both feel and sound.

This from TaylorMade: “The proven performance of the original Daddy Long Legs now in a more stable package. Incorporating a brand new Super Stroke grip with a 125g Counter core weight, is designed to provide a stable stroke”.
