Cleveland Golf Introduces new Frontline Putters Boasting Brand New Weighing System for More Accuracy

The new Frontline putters from Cleveland Golf are taking the world by storm, as the company introduced an innovative way to design a putter. What's so special about these putters, you asked? Well, Cleveland designed its latest Frontline putters with a radical (read out-of-the-box) weighting system which is aimed at pushing the CoG (center of gravity) forward. This technological innovation is described as being nothing short of revolutionary when it comes to putter design, and here's what Jacob Lambeth, Research and Development Engineer at Cleveland Golf had to say about his company's new release:

“We are very excited about Frontline because it is a completely new approach to putter design. By pairing an extreme center of gravity with an improved speed-optimized face, we've designed a putter that uniquely maximizes directional and speed consistency. Combined with slick black cosmetics, great shapes and hosel options for different stroke types, Frontline really is the whole package.”

The challenge for Cleveland Golf's engineers was to design a putter that's strong enough to deal with miss-hits while delivering smooth and consistent straight putts. The main technology incorporated into the new putter is called Tungsten Forward Weighting, which puts 2 MIM tungsten weights (MIM stands for metal injection molded by the way) in the face of the Frontline putter. The new weighting system delivers amazing stability through impact while pushing the center of gravity forward for excellent accuracy on the greens.

Another technology worth mentioning in the Frontline is SOFT, aka Speed Optimized Face Technology. The SOFT thing works by normalizing ball speeds across the face in order to deliver consistent distance performance predictably, on each putt. Each new model in the Frontline line-up comes with a distinct SOFT pattern, which is focused on preventing distance and speed loss, especially when it comes to off-center strikes.

There are 3 different mallet options to choose from, all including Cleveland's 2135 Technology, which is great at helping with alignment issues on critical putts, as well as 2 different hosel models, which provide excellent fit: slant neck and single bend. The latter is perfect for straight stroke types, while the former is ideal for players with a slight arc stroke.

The new Frontline putter comes with the Lamkin SINKFit Pistol Frontline grip as standard, and it's available in 33, 34 and 35-inch length options. The Frontline 4.0 blade MAP retails for $179.99, and the 3 different mallet models, Cero, Elevado and Iso MAP will drain $199,99 from your bank account.
