Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond Driver Review

The Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond Driver retails for $499 and holds the world record for the longest product name ever! Ok, I am kidding (maybe), however, what you need to know about the Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond is that it feels and looks great and it comes with a very interesting (and effective) Gravity Core adjustability.

Long story short, this driver is a must-have/must-try for better players. What's new about the latest Callaway driver is the Gravity Core thingy which now features Dual Distance Chambers, and if that sounds complicated, these tech gizmos are aimed at changing the shot shape and spin rates. But besides state of the art technology, the Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond is a great looker design wise, and it means business.

That's not a first for Callaway, which are known for setting the standard for absolutely beautiful players drivers, and this one makes no exception to that rule. The driver has the both the looks and the “brains”, as it sounds muted and not very “metallic”, and in terms of feel, well, you're in for a real treat. This baby actually feels “hot”, and the ball is fired out like a .50 projectile from a Desert Eagle, I mean the Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond it's a great players driver and gives you tons of confidence.

Another great feature is the immense number of adjustability options, and every position you choose will dramatically change the feel of the driver, having a big impact on ball flight. Besides its adjustability qualities, the Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond is shockingly forgiving and it represents an evolutionary leap in terms of performance when compared to its predecessors.  Even if you're not a “better player”, you should definitely try the Big Bertha Alpha 816 Double Black Diamond.
