The masterpiece by the sea. Minnosett Golf and Country club truly offers a unique atmosphere with the beach being a short drive away, you always have that resort feel while playing this track. The 6,400 yard par 72, is a must visit. If you are looking for a fun-filled day of lay-back golf, look no further.

When arriving at Minnosett, you will be greeted with a gorgeous clubhouse, and some of the best golf you can think up. If the 6,400 yard layout does not do it for you, then the scenery will appease anyones eye. With tree-lined fairways throughout, and strategically placed ponds, and ample view of the Neuse River, you have it all here. The front 9 sits at just over 3,100 yards, and scoring is all over the place. With both par 5s not even reaching 500 yards, you have ample opportunity to reach both in just two shots. The par 4s are not long by any means, and the 1st and 3rd holes are both drive able for the long-ball hitters. Once you have navigated through the front 9, you will be greeted with two of the longest par 4s on the course at 10 and 11, and both are also rated with the 1 and 3 handicaps respectively. ?The holes will capture many victims, with the Neuse River providing enough defense to guard against the easy birdies. Once you have escaped these two monsters, you will be rewarded with a reach able par 5 13th hole, and the scoring resumes. The rest of the round consists of another reach able par 5, and average par 4s in length.

If you are looking for a tough test, then you should avoid Minnosett but if you are simply looking to enjoy your round and navigate through some gorgeous surroundings, then this is the place for you. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area, and not passing up on some really great golf.
